Favorite Products from Lush Cosmetics

A rush of adrenaline, the smell of flowers, candy, and herbs…a single bead of sweat drops down my brow. I have entered into the mecca…into the promised land of bath bombs, lip scrubs, face masks, and bath oils. It’s go time. It’s Lush.

After reading that you might be tempted to click off of my blog because I admit I’m pretty weird…but no please stay! I want to tell you about my all time favorite Lush products! All of them are pictured up above (except for one bath bomb that’s missing…I couldn’t help myself and used it for a bath I took last night…whoops). Pictured, are two bath bombs, one bath oil, a lip scrub, and a face mask. Without further ado lets jump right into these products.

First, I would like to tell you about my all time favorite bath bomb…my number one…my day one…my bath bomb from anotha motha (what)…the Intergalactic. This bad boy, as you can see, is very colorful and when dropped in the water, turns the water a very glittery deep blue. It’s gorgeous and also smells amazing. Now I know glitter isn’t for everyone and if it’s not for you then I would suggest staying away from this one. Whenever I use the Intergalactic, the glitter stays on me for a good day or so. I suggest using this one on a weekend…not the night before a big interview or job presentation. It smells very pepperminty which is a nice relaxing scent and is perfect for a calming bath. It’s featured ingredient is peppermint oil (surprise). Buy Here…immediatlyScreen Shot 2017-08-25 at 5.09.11 PM

My second favorite bath bomb is the Butterball. Not to be confused with the 13 pound turkey your mom buys for Thanksgiving. This bath bomb is extremely moisturizing…you’ll come out of the bath feeling like an actual butter ball (trust me…that’s a good thing). This one might look basic but it’s far from it. It turns the water a sort of milky bubbly white and has cocoa butter chunks (it’s featured ingredient) that dissolve and give your skin that soft moisturizing feeling. It’s also one of the least expensive bath bombs Lush carries…at only 4.95 (way less than an actual Butterball turkey). Buy HereScreen Shot 2017-08-25 at 5.20.45 PM

The third best bath bomb (in my opinion) is the Pink one. I don’t have any pictures of it because, like I said, I used it last night. This one has pretty flowers and heart confetti that explode once it hits the water. It turns the water a light pink color and smells like candy…literally what’s better?! The featured ingredient is tonka absolute which is kind of like a sweet perfume scented bean (I think?). Buy HereScreen Shot 2017-08-25 at 5.26.53 PMLush Blog Post pic 8 8:25Lush Blog Post pic 7 8:25

Mask of Magnaminty might be the best mask in all the land. It’s a green mud-like mask with chunks of primrose seeds and aduki beans incorporated throughout. When you put it on your face don’t be alarmed if it tingles a little bit…it’s made with peppermint oil and that’s what gives you that feeling. You might look like Shrek while wearing this but the end result is worth it. Once you wash this mask off, your face will look and feel super refreshed, awake, and brightened. This is my third time purchasing it and I will 100% repurchase it a fourth time. Buy HereScreen Shot 2017-08-25 at 5.35.30 PMLush Blog Post pic 2 8:25

This right here is (half) a You’ve Been Mangoed bath oil…I used the other half a few nights ago. I don’t think bath oils are as popular as bath bombs but I do enjoy them. They don’t give you that bubble bath look but they do feel very luxurious when you’re lying in the tub. This is the best smelling one in my opinion. It’s very fresh and fruity smelling…it has lemongrass, avocado butter, and mango butter in it. The butters leave your skin feeling soft and moisturized and it’s no surprise that the featured ingredient is mango butter! Buy HereScreen Shot 2017-08-25 at 5.44.08 PMLush Blog Post pic 5 8:25Lush Blog Post pic 6 8:25

Last but not least is The Kiss Lip Scrub. Run to the kitchen, get out your spoons, and dig in! Tastes like candy! No, please don’t actually get out your spoons and dig in, but do try a little when its on your lips. It tastes amazing and is actually edible. The main ingredient is castor sugar…so you know it’s gotta be sweet! Put this scrub on your lips when they’re feeling dry and flakey and after about 30 seconds of scrubbing they’ll feel brand new…ready for any sort of liquid lipstick! I just looked at the Lush website and didn’t see the exact lip scrub that I have here…but I did see one very similar called Bubblegum. I’m sure this one is just as tasty and works just as miraculously! Buy HereScreen Shot 2017-08-25 at 5.49.48 PM

And that about wraps up my all time faves from Lush! I go through bath bombs like crazy and now since Fall is coming up I can’t imagine how many more I will go through. Good thing there’s a Lush literally right across the street from me…or that could be a very very bad thing…I’ll keep you posted.
