One of the reasons I love Christmas so much is because of all the amazing candle scents that I can burn during this time. There is nothing better than turning off all the lights (except for the tree lights), reading a book, and burning a holiday candle. Currently, I have 10 holiday candles placed throughout my apartment…too much? Definitely not. I actually want to get a few more. If you’re looking to purchase a holiday candle or two (or seven) you’ve come to the right place! Below, I’ve listed my top 10 faves that you just have to try! If you want to be taken directly to each candles webpage, just click on the name.
This might be my all time favorite of all time favorites. It smells of sweet Christmas trees and just everything winter-y (hence the name). When I think of Christmas, I think of this scent.
Not sure why this one says let it snow (my twisted peppermint has a cute sparkly red and pink design on it). Anyway, it doesn’t smell too pepperminty and it doesn’t smell too sweet…it’s the perfect combination of the two. It also has hints of vanilla buttercream in it.
I keep this one on my nightstand right next to my bed…I love lighting it at night when I’m watching tv or something. It smells like mulled wine and fruit.
This is another classic scent…who doesn’t love the smell of Christmas cookies?! It’s not too sweet but it does give off a nice “freshly baked cookie” aroma.
This is one of those candles where if I smell it in May, I’ll get sad that it’s not Christmas (I know I’m weird). It smells exactly like Christmas trees and it’s perfect if you have a fake tree but still want the smell of a real tree in your house!
First of all, how cute is the front sticker design?! I love the little teddy bear! This one smells like a mix of cranberries, cinnamon, and spice. Again, not too overpowering but definitely smells like Christmas.
Jack Frost is a great candle to burn all winter long. Since it smells like snow, peppermint, and sweet cream it’s a good all around winter scent.
I ran out of this one last year so I need to repurchase it again soon. I love the smell of marshmallow anything…add a fireside in there and I’m in heaven. It really does smell like the name…marshmallow and firewood.
This is a classic Bath and Body Works scent. I first smelled this when I got it in a hand lotion like 10 years ago. I have loved this scent ever since then. It smells very sweet…of apples and sugar
I love anything vanilla scented so this is a must have for me. And this one just smells strictly of vanilla (can’t smell any Noel in there).
