I’m an extremely nosy person…hate to admit that…but I am. I love knowing what people are up to, what the inside of their houses look like and exactly how they decorate their space. So I thought I would share with you guys how I decorated my home for Christmas this year! I live in a two bedroom apartment so I don’t have too much space to decorate (which is either a blessing or a curse…I haven’t decided yet). I went around and took a bunch of pictures of the main living space…hopefully these pictures put you in the Christmas spirit and maybe give you some ideas for next year! (Or this year if you’re still decorating). FYI this is going to basically be like a picture book…so let your inner kid rejoice. I will also be sure to link everything (that’s still available). Enjoy the tour!
Let’s start with my favorite part of the whole apartment…the tree! We got this one at Target as well as all the ornaments and gold ribbon. (We got everything in this post from either Target, Michael’s, or Home Goods).
These aren’t actual presents…I just took empty boxes we had lying around (from old lights and shoes) and wrapped them up!
Next up, let’s move into the living room. This is how I decorated our tv console. The garland has lights on it so it’s really pretty at night. I also stuck some fake holly berries and gold “sticks” in it as well. The stockings and reindeer (I couldn’t find the reindeer on online, they must be sold out!) are from Target. I’m living for that gold sparkly reindeer. The Santa and tree are from Home Goods, and the garland is from Michael’s. Side note-Home Goods apparently doesn’t list things on their website so I couldn’t link anything from there…I’m sorry!!
The stockings were hung by the tv console with care…in hopes that next year we’ll have a real fireplace to hang them on cause that would only be fair.
In this next picture we have a cute moose throw that I got at Home Goods. (This was Seth’s pick).
On our coffee table I put a runner (from Target…sold out) and this cute little “Believe” sign on top of it (from Home Goods).
Now let’s move on into the kitchen. Our “front door” is right in our kitchen so we got this cute “Oh What Fun” door mat for that area. (from Target)
I don’t know why but it’s giving me serious Christmas Vacation Vibes…anyone else?
Moving to the other side of the front door…we have a wreath that I got from Michael’s.
The dish towels, cookie tins, and nutcracker that you will see next are all from Home Goods.
I am OBSESSED with these mugs in this next picture…I mean how cute are they?! Seth and I have hot coco in them all the time. (from Target) They are sold out but I found another mug that I bought that’s also really cute!
And it isn’t Christmas if you don’t have a poinsettia plant!
I also bought these little bows at Michael’s and I tied them around the handles of this cabinet…just goes to show that you can literally make anything festive!
We have decorations in our bedroom but the lighting in there is horrible. We have a mini tree and some stockings hung up. I also tried to take a picture of our bathroom but the lighting in there is also terrible…take a look for yourself…
So let’s end on a happy, pretty note…the Christmas tree lit up at night!
Hope you guys enjoyed my holiday home tour! I promise next year I will figure out this lighting situation!!
