I recently took a poll on Instagram asking if I should do a try-on session from Target or from Nordstrom Rack. Target won by a landslide, but I mean of course, who doesn’t love Targè?! So on Sunday, I went to do the try-on session and boy was I surprised. I guess I haven’t shopped for clothes at Target in a while because there were some pretty awesome finds. There’s a new brand there called Universal Thread (at least I think it’s new) and I basically loved every piece I saw of theirs. I ended up finding tons of great items and I wanted to share them with you guys here on my blog! You can also check out my Instagram try-on session here! Also, all these pieces are under $38…how awesome is that! Gotta love Target!
I absolutely love this first outfit I tried on. This military jacket (wearing a size small) is definitely a spring wardrobe staple piece. It would also look great with a white tee underneath or a flowy boho top. And can we talk about these jeans!! All the heart eyes!! Target jeans never used to be my favorite but these have totally changed my mind. I’m wearing a size 2 and they fit like a dream. I also love the raw hem…the frayed edges are just so cute!
These booties are basically what dreams are made of. I’ve been looking for a pair like these for a long time. I can tell you right now, I’ll be wearing them at least 4 times a week. They’re super comfy (I’m wearing a size 8) and I love the little ankle cutout detail.
How cute would this outfit be for work?! This is the same tee I wore in the first picture…it’s so versatile! And I’m loving the color of these chinos…such a fun spring color! They’re super comfy and fit perfectly. I’m wearing a size 2.
Also these mules…how cute are they?! They come in 2 other colors and I’m super tempted to buy all 3…would that be bad?! Let’s take a closer look at these babies…
So cute!! I’m wearing a size 8 and they fit perfectly.
This isn’t the type of look I usually go for…I don’t really like the look of midi skirts (or dresses) on me…but I ended up really liking this outfit! It’s such a fun print and the entire look is flattering. I’m wearing everything in a size small. If you wanted to, you could just buy the crop top separately and wear it with a cute pair of high waisted jeans! I’m also really loving these heels…a pair of open toed nude heels are a must have for spring and summer. I’m wearing these in a size 8.
I’ve been wanting a duster jacket for a while now so I’m super glad I found this one! It comes in a few different prints but this one was my fave (I’m wearing a size extra small). These dusters are so easy to style too…just throw on a white tee and some jeans and you’re good to go! Side note: I love knotting my tees in the front…I think it makes the outfit more interesting.
This is such a classic spring and summer look. I love blue and white together so this right here is my kinda outfit. I love the balloon sleeves on this top and the corset tie detail on the back. I’m wearing this one in a size small, as well. These white jeans are the exact same as the high rise ones from above (I’m wearing a size 2)…same raw hem and fit!
1) I forgot to take off my scrunchie…whoops and 2) these pants are so super comfy!! They’re also super easy to dress up or down. Pair them with these nude heels to dress them up or pair them with some converse to dress them down. These are in a size 2 and even though they’re super baggy, they’re somehow still really flattering.
Yes, I’m wearing the white tee again…it’s just so versatile (and comfy)! And I’m all about comfort. Speaking of comfort…these are another pair of super comfy pants. I could wear these every single day. Again like the last pair, they’re super easy to dress up or down. I love the cute tie detail in the front too! These are in a size 2.
So I accidentally grabbed a size extra large in this top…but it still somehow turned out really cute (I ended up buying it in a size medium). I’m loving this army green color for spring and when paired with these white mules…you can’t go wrong! The mules add a pop of brightness and the jeans dress everything down a bit.
Can you tell I’m currently obsessed with tie front tops (lol). I can’t help it! They just make any shirt so much cuter! This is such a unique top and I’m loving it paired with some white jeans. The top is in a size small but I would order a size up just in case, because the sleeve holes (is that the right phrase?) are a little tight.
And last but not least we have this cute boho top! I’m wearing a size large because I like these kind of tops super flowy and baggy. The tassel detail is also super cute and you could wear this with either these white jeans or tucked into some high waisted jean shorts.
Now that we’re at the end of this post, let’s go back and count how many times I said cute…and the count is at 11…I guess that’s not so bad…
